1About These Terms
These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your use of TrueCompanions dog walking services ("Services") operated by Ozen Global LLC d/b/a TrueCompanions ("we," "us," or "our") in South Florida.
By submitting a booking form or completing payment, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use our Services.
2Services Provided
TrueCompanions provides neighborhood dog walking services including:
- 30-Minute Walk — 1 dog ($20) or 2 dogs ($30)
- 60-Minute Walk — 1 dog ($35) or 2 dogs ($45)
- Weekly Plans — 3× or 5× per week at discounted per-walk rates
Services are provided within our designated service area in South Florida. We reserve the right to decline service at our discretion.
3Booking & Confirmation
A booking is not confirmed until:
- Your booking form has been submitted successfully
- Payment has been completed via Stripe
- You have received a confirmation email from TrueCompanions
We will contact you within 24 hours of your booking submission to confirm your first walk and coordinate logistics.
4Payment Terms
All payments are processed securely through Stripe. By completing payment, you authorize the charge to your selected payment method.
- One-time walks are charged in full at time of booking
- Weekly plans are charged on a recurring basis as agreed at sign-up
- All prices are in USD and inclusive of all fees
Payment is due and collected at the time of booking. Services will not be rendered without completed payment.
5Cancellation & Refund Policy
We understand that plans change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
- 24+ hours notice: Full credit or reschedule at no charge
- Less than 24 hours notice: 50% of the service fee is charged
- Same-day cancellation or no-show: Full service fee is charged
To cancel or reschedule, please contact us at truecompanions.co@gmail.com as early as possible.
Recurring weekly plan subscriptions may be paused or cancelled with at least 7 days written notice before the next billing cycle.
6Liability & Waiver
By booking with TrueCompanions, you acknowledge and agree that:
- You are the legal owner or authorized caretaker of the dog(s) in your booking
- Your dog(s) are current on all required vaccinations
- You have disclosed any known behavioral concerns, medical conditions, or special needs
- You have signed the digital liability waiver as part of the booking process
TrueCompanions takes every precaution to ensure the safety and wellbeing of your dog. However, TrueCompanions is not liable for injury, illness, loss, or damage that occurs despite reasonable care being exercised, or as a result of information that was not disclosed at the time of booking.
In the event of a medical emergency, TrueCompanions will attempt to contact you and/or your designated emergency contact immediately, and may authorize emergency veterinary care at your expense if you cannot be reached.
7Your Responsibilities
As a client, you agree to:
- Provide accurate and complete information during booking
- Ensure your dog is leash-ready and accessible at the scheduled time
- Notify us of any changes to your dog's health, behavior, or routine
- Maintain a safe environment for our walker
8Privacy
Your personal information (name, address, email, phone) is collected solely to provide and improve our Services. We do not sell or share your data with third parties except as required to process payment (Stripe) or deliver service-related communications.
Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment information. We never store card details on our servers.
9Modifications to These Terms
We may update these Terms at any time. Changes will be posted to this page with an updated date. Continued use of our Services after changes constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
10Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, without regard to conflict of law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or our Services shall be resolved in the courts of Florida.
